Are you a passionate educator dedicated to shaping the hearts and minds of young people? Our client is seeking a dynamic Secondary Humanities Teacher to join their team in Coolaroo. This is a full-time role focusing on students in Grades 7 through 10.

Key Responsibilities

• Curriculum Delivery: Plan and deliver engaging Humanities lessons aligned with the Victorian Curriculum for Years 7-10.

• Student Growth: Utilize High Impact Teaching Strategies (HITS) and data-informed practices to monitor and support the academic growth of every student.

• Collaboration: Work closely with the Humanities Department and Wellbeing Team to provide a holistic and supportive learning environment.

• Parent Engagement: Maintain proactive communication with families via SEQTA regarding student progress and wellbeing.

Selection Criteria

• Qualified Educator: Relevant tertiary qualifications in Education and Humanities.

• VIT Registration: Current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT).

• Pedagogical Excellence: Demonstrated ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learners and EAL students.

• Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with students, staff, and the broader Coolaroo community.
